Will my private health insurance pay for my acupuncture treatment?
Some private health insurance schemes will cover full or partial payment for acupuncture given by an acupuncturist who is a member of the British Acupuncture Council. Dwara holds full membership and so you should be able to claim if you have insurance with one of the following organisations, subject to the conditions of your particular policy. Some insurance companies require a referral from your G.P. or consultant; others do not need a referral.
Which insurance companies allow me to seek acupuncture treatment without a doctor's referral?
