Tuesday and Thursday

Clifton Physiotherapy is a long-established, highly reputable practice offering a professional, friendly service, with Physiotherapy treatment given by Chartered Physiotherapists, and Pilates taught on a one-to-one basis. Owners Marion Averill and Lisa Barnacle bought the practice from the previous owner in 2001. Dwara has been an acupuncturist since 1992 and joined the team at Clifton Physiotherapy in February 2010. She is delighted to be part of such an excellent practice.

The practice is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am. On Mondays and Thursdays, it is open until 7.30pm; on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, it is open until 6.00pm. There is full-time reception and, when you ring for an appointment or to make an enquiry, the phone will usually be answered by Liz Horrigan or Julie Sandell. Acupuncture appointments with Dwara are available on Tuesdays from 9am till 6pm and on Thursday from 3.45pm till 7.30pm.

Clifton Physiotherapy is at the side of the Pembroke Road GP practice, just along from the corner of Pembroke Road and Guthrie Road. To find us, just walk down the drive at the side of the surgery (you’ll see a sign for Physiotherapy) and down the stone steps. If you cannot manage steps, follow the drive round to the back of the building, where you will see disabled access.

Dwara’s patients come for acupuncture treatment to help with a range of symptoms. Dwara treats each patient individually to provide whatever help she thinks acupuncture may offer.

Parking is free in the streets around the practice.
